For creators
Your reel, your credit.
Grumble only exists because people film themselves cooking. Here's exactly what it does with that, in the terms we'd want if it were our work.
Every basket credits you and links back
A basket built from your reel names you and links to the original. Not a screenshot of it, not a re-upload: a link back to the post, so the view is yours. A basket without a credit is a bug, not a policy.
The method is rewritten, not copied
Grumble writes the steps in its own words. Your caption isn't lifted, your script isn't transcribed into a wall of text, and the recipe on a basket page reads like instructions rather than like your post. The ingredient list is the factual part (what you cooked with) and the method is a summary of it.
Grumble doesn't host your video
The video is read once to rebuild the recipe and then discarded. It isn't stored, re-hosted, clipped, or shown on a Grumble page. What is and isn't kept.
Grumble doesn't sell your recipe
Nobody pays Grumble for a basket, and Grumble doesn't take a cut of a grocery order. If that ever changes it will be said out loud on this page first, not discovered.
If you want out
Email us and your reels are excluded: no argument, no form, no "tell us why". If you'd rather be credited differently, or want a specific recipe taken down, that works the same way.

One honest caveat
Grumble is a student project and it is not open yet. Nobody's reel has been turned into a public basket, because there is no public basket to make. This page is the commitment we're making before that's true, so it can be held against us afterwards.
